Welcome to Loch Katrine

This cache has come about as we are using the walk round the loch to get a bit of training in for the west highland way. This is by far the the best user friendly loch I know of.

Facilities are amazing. Although there are winter opening times here for some of the facilities.The views as you walk round the loch are breath taking,we had a fantastic day for it today which gave us some amazing pictures.
There is a small charge for parking which is used to maintain the facilities.
The perfect place to enjoy the timeless beauty of The Trossachs, magnificent landscapes shaped by nature and immortalised in poetry by Sir Walter Scott.
Take in the view and enjoy the special experience of a classic steamship cruise on board Sir Walter Scott.

Now on to the cache from the car park follow the well defined path for a few miles and your gps and you will find the pot of gold.

There is two small benches to sit at for your lunch and you can see the cache from here.
