Witbank TB Motel
Witbank Garden centre is one of the many nurseries in town with a great atmosphere. There is also the Duck pond coffee shop where you can sit down and have some refreshments, or you can order from them and sit on the island with ducks around you in the dam. From the entrance you can stroll around first, look at the fish in the tanks, then the birds in cages and then the plants and big birds outside. Before you leave the entrance, get yourself a bag of pellets for the bucks, rabbits, ducks and lastly the lama, what a beautiful animal. The entrance is free of charge; the owner gave us permission to hide the cache but will not help you. The combination of the lock is 2-7-5. Don’t forget to take a break and feed the lama at the back. Just remember there is a deferens between a Hotel and Motel. At a Hotel you can stay over for a long time, and at a Motel you can do it also but it is just cheaper. This Motel is just off the high way so that is a quick stop for dropping off or collect TB’S and Geocoins.
Please follow the rules, don’t let the Motel ran empty because it is expensive to keep staff just for one or too travellers. There is also a container for small trade items. The cache is only available during day’s form:
Monday to Saturday 08H00 till 17H00
Sunday’s 09H00 till 14H00
During May till July on Saturday’s 09H00 till 14H00.
Please follow the rules so that the Travel Bugs in this Motel can travel safely.
Rule 1: Please make sure that every “Traveller” being checked-in has an attached travel plan and inserted, with travel plans.
Rule 2: Place the “traveller” in the correct hotel room. Try to match the goal of the “traveller” with the destination of the room.
Rule 3: Log your visit in the applicable guest book (see above for details of each guest book (log book) and online, even if you have been here before.
Rule 4: Take as many “travellers” as you wish, as long as you move them along, towards their goal. Please try not to check out all the guests at one time!
Rule 5: Visit the curio shop (swag) in the lobby. Don’t forget to leave something behind when trading.
