Petroglyphs Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Terrain is a 3.5 just because of the rocks needed to climb on at GZ. The difficulty could be more depending on where your GPS'r takes you. Potentially lots of hiding spots. Your looking for a big camo'd Skippy peanut butter container.
This is a very nice area to bring the family and take a walk on the path to a historical site. The path is gravel to the cache site and once there you will have to climb on some bigger rocks to get to the cache. I have included some pictures and would like to see more from you to share with everyone. Bring your camera and take pictures of more of the rock art, petroglyphs, scenery or even yourselves. Driving up the Snake River to the cache you will pass it from the road but keep driving and park just short of a quarter mile in a large parking area on the side of the road. In the summer this will be a hot spot for muggles so be stealthy. There is an unregistered Travel Bug tag and a Bison tube for the FTF!
