Geocache Description:

The cache is located within a 300 metre radius; so it is possible to walk to its location. For those that wish to drive 250m further South along Chelsea Street, an additional parking waypoint is marked.

Near "Parking 2" Waypoint you will find a well defined sandy path which will take you to the cache less than 100m into the bush. The cache is within 2m of this path.

Please try to be careful of the vegetation as it is an environmental reserve.

I would recommend bringing areoguard with you as mossies like to breed in the nearby mudflats.

The cache itself is a .30 cal ammo box.

This multi will take you around a park that now holds a plaque that remembers the service of soliders in World War I, referring to the pines that line Anzac Avenue.

To calculate the cache's coordinates, start near the above coordinates, and collect the required information from the following Waypoints (visit in a clockwise direction):

  • At S27° 13.150', E153° 4.284' ("By-Laws Sign") find DD: The Chapter of the By-Laws that prohibits the playing of golf +1 (eg. DD = X +1).
  • At S27° 13.130', E153° 4.291' ("First Plaque") find AA: The month the memorial was opened +2 (eg. AA = X +2).
  • At S27° 13.135', E153° 4.315' ("Second Plaque") find C: Letters in the month the Brachychiton rupestris was planted.
  • At S27° 13.141', E153° 4.327' ("Exersite") find:
  • B: Number of exercises in Series 2.
  • F: Number of exercises in Series 1 - 1 (eg F = X -1).

The cache is located at: S27° AA.300, E153°0C.DD5.
