This cache is located in the Port Hudson State Historical Site
which is located 25 minutes north of Baton Rouge on Hwy US 61.
There is a great museum, picnic facilities and miles of wooded
trails with descriptive information here, so make an afternoon of
it. It is one of the truly impressive Civil War sites.
The cache is locate in the pinic area of the site. There is an
entrance fee of $2.00. While at the site, there are two other
caches you can hunt, put I would recommned that you wear
comfortable shoes and bring some water, the other two require
hiking.
