Cache is a small lock and lock box.

Murthly is a small village that lies just south of the River Tay. It dates back as far as the early 15th century when a castle was situated here. A new castle was constructed in 1827 but was never completed. Consequently it was demolished in 1949 and the stone used to construct the dam at Pitlochry.

The cache is hidden within the village. Parking is available at the small village shop and the cache a short walk from there.
