Geocache Description:

The Tasmanian Mineral Extractions historical site is a short walk through the remains of a former mineral processing facility, closed in 1915. Along the walk you'll see many relics including crushers, boilers and other pieces of equipment. The site includes two small lookouts, one overlooking the precipitation ponds and ruins of former buildings.

The walk should take around 30 minutes, depending on how overgrown the tracks are.

The cache is a 280ml plastic container (not anymore, see below). Contains log book, pencil and sharpener, glasses repair kit (tiny screwdriver and screws), red stone bracelet, scented tealight candle, purple poker chip, animal stickers.

As you hunt for the cache, you might find an archway, and you might go through it..

Update February 25th: Just upgraded the container to a 400ml Sistema, and added a rock to the hiding spot to make it a bit more muggleproof. I'm suspicious the area may be cleaned up at some point, but we'll see how it goes. :D
