Geocaching will be prohibited during the Youth Turkey Season (April 4 – April 10) and the regular Turkey season (April 11 – May 9).
Geocachers will still be able to use Holly Shelter Game Lands on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday as this particular game lands is a three day per week hunting area (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday).

We don’t wish to have any geocachers issued any paperwork at the minimum and absolutely don’t want anyone to get injured.
This cache will not burn and hopefully all will heed the message as you approach the cache location. Cache has trade items for outdoor activities. This cache is located in a game land and hunting is active during hunting season.
If you go during hunting season ensure you wear bright orange hats or vest for safety.
Camping is restricted to Sep. 1 – Feb. 28 and April 7 – May 14 in
areas both designated and posted as camping areas.
