Geocache Description:

We will be celebrating 10 years of Geocaching. So come join the fun.







To celebrate the Tenth Anniversary of Geocaching May 2nd 2000. We will be gathering at the Group Landing area in Osceola to meet any and all cachers, swap tales, do a little camping and some other things geocaching related. We will have lots more fun in store over the three days.

This will be a weekend of camping starting April 16th and ending on the 18th for all that want to celebrate 10 Great years of Geocaching.

There are numerous caches in the area to be found. We will have a disscussion on caching in the forest and taking care of our wonderful forest.

There will be food involed as I am thinking on some Yard Bird for the main meal on Saturday.

The camp ground has Showers, Flush Toilets and a group shelter and some camper hook ups ( these are limited to 4 ) , and a grill.

Tent camping is limited but we will fit everyone in somewhere.

Anyone wising to bring something to the dinner table please feel free to do so.

Travel bugs will be traded and on display for all to discover and move along.

Dinner will be served around noon on Saturday for the event but all other meals will be bring your own. We are looking at maybe some hotdogs on Friday night so come hungry.

There will be a Geo 101 Class put on Saturday night around 6pm to discuss different types of hides, different containers and hiding styles. You won't want to miss out on this. If you have any questions then please bring them to this gathering and we will find you the answers you seek.
