Geocache Description:

The 1st cache in a series of 4 located high above Huddersfield and near Crosland Moor just off the main Blackmoorfoot Road.

This walk takes you along the footpaths and bridleways around the small village of South Crosland which was originally a chapelry in the civil parish of Almondbury, and became a separate civil parish in 1866. The parish and urban district was abolished under a County Review Order in 1938, being split between the county borough of Huddersfield, the Holmfirth Urban District, and the Meltham urban district.

You are looking for a small clip top box containing a log book, pencil and a few other bits and pieces for swaps!

Please note the cache is not placed in the wall so no removal of stones required.
