I had a friend once who said he knew he was nuts because he had a certificate to prove it ! I don't think I am quite nuts yet, but for my 11th trail I invite you on a walk around Copsale and Nuthurst.
The first 2 caches are on the old downslink. This was an old railway and you can see this by the straighness of the path.
There are several caches by other people around here as well, so the area is quite busy for caches. I like this trail because of the amount of horses in the area. You pass through some particularly nice stables. If you have dogs then please be warey.
You will also spot the remains of a large hall, which I think was called Sparrow Hall. You can see the old walled garden, and some of the old buildings exist which are currently being converted into housing.
Oh and there is a nice nursery (plants not babies !) which has a very nice toilet !!. I think theres a sign in there about it winning an award !
The Trail :-
The trail is fairly flat, although there are a couple of steep bits. When I walked it in February it was very muddy as some of the bridleways get churned up after rain, so please be aware of this !
Additional Info :-
Trail Length - 8.6 miles / 21 caches + 1 bonus
Suggested parking - N51 00.681 W000 19.960
