When you find this spot and look out across the bay to the Lake District I think, in my opinion, you are experiencing one of the best views in this area. This view is never the same twice and no matter the weather it is like an ever changing Monet painting. My father has lived in Arnside for over ten years and this has given me the opportunity to be a part time Arnsider at the weekends – this is the view I can’t wait to see as I drive into the village on a Friday and the one that waves me goodbye on Sunday - but no more - I now get to enjoy it every day as it has become part of my daily commute to my new job – yes! I am a full time Arnsider at last!
So where is the cache? Well after admiring my favourite view you might like to explore some other hidden gems in the area. Have a seat on the bench on the triangle of grass - it's in arms reach - I will try and point you in the right direction!
24th April 2010 - My coordinates have been a bit out despite trying to correct this several times. Unfortunately it has resulted in upsetting a local resident - the cache IS ON THE TRIANGLE OF GREEN GRASS and not near anybody's property.
