The April 2010 CAGE (Capital Area Geocaching Event) will be held
at Patriarche Park in East Lansing from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
The park pavilion cannot be reserved before May 1st, it is
first-come-first-served, so we do not have it reserved, but we are
going to plan on meeting there. The cache coordinates will take you
to the pavilion, where we will have signs so that anyone should be
able to find us, even if you have never been to a CAGE event
before.
This event will just be a simple meet and greet where we can all
get together and hang out. There is no need for anyone to bring
anything with them, but if you want to bring some food, either for
yourselves or to share, please feel free. Please also feel free to
bring TBs or coins to pass along or to be discovered, and feel free
to bring pathtags to trade.
The weather could possibly still be bad in April, but we are
ready to get outside, so we will be there whatever the weather
holds.
After a short winter break, the monthly CAGE events are back.
This year we are going to start out by giving Thursday nights a
try. If this works out, we will probably have future events on the
second or third Thursday of the month. We may have more of the
events at this park if it works out, or we may take the CAGE on
tour, visiting a variety of local parks. Let us know what you would
like to see.
The CAGE Team is currently made up of Team Goldfinch, thevidas,
Cruzcontrol82, The Allen Cachers, and SpyHikers. Other geocachers
or caching teams who would like to join The CAGE Team are welcome!
