The cache is loacated off a country road on Campbell Range. It is a film canister..
When at the site, look north up the hill,you will see some evergreens. This is the site of the original Campbell Range School untill it simply aged beyond repair.(please do not venture up there as it is private)
Where you are at now is the location of the new school. A much better location too. The building standing is the woodshed. A story goes that years after its use the school had some new students. During a cold winter storm some sheep took shelter here. But the strong winds blew the door closed on them and they all perished. For years the smell of death lingered in the walls. Maybe that is why the new school has been moved to a ranch located behind you(south). You may be able to see it where you stand.
Children from the old Campbell School ended up going to Robbins Range School,but when the new school was built they went back to it. My father and mother in law who were running a mill at the time,donated the lumber for the new school. When enrollment at the Robbins Range school declined the school closed sending the children to the New Campbell Range School.
Some time later another new school to the west was built for the the children who's parents worked at the mill. Some of the desks from Robbins Range School went to this school. Sadly this school was burnt down with the mill. Maybe another geocache site????
