This is a fine old building, constructed by the Masons in 1861. It has been a school, temple, Effingham's town hall, and is now the library.
It was recently refurbished, and the cupola was sitting in the parking lot for awhile...I wish I'd taken a photo. It sure looked bigger when on the ground.
