This cache is located on the Smith Property just off the upper trail. The loop trail through this property is maintained by the Guelph Hiking Trail Club and is a side trail off of the Radial Line Trail.
This is a popular trail and can be busy at times so please watch out for muggles. Parking is available on the roadside near the trailhead (N 43° 32.926 W 080° 11.011). A map posted at the trail entrance provides an overview of the trail route. When approaching this cache from Watson Road take the trail to your left at the "Trail Junction" (N 43 32.977 W 080 10.839). The stone pile after which this cache is named extends for a length of about 500 metres beside the trail. The area to the north of the trail was once a farm field and was reforested in the 20th century. The rocks were removed from the fields to make way for crops.
