and Stones Harriman Edition
No, the cache has nothing
to do with the phrase "Sticks and stones may break my
bones...". That tired old idiom has been around since before
Harriman was even an estate. My sometime hiking and caching
buddy Pete calls his collection of pictures of flora growing out of
improbable places, sticks and stones. Wanted to thank him for
introducing me to Harriman and give him an opportunity to add to
his collection.
Cache is a black plastic
ammo box located just off the Arden Surebridge Trail. A
couple of hundred feet elevation gain from the Elk Pen parking
area. No need to climb at the site as the cache is below eye level
for everyone. As usual please rehide better than you
find.
