Mr. Nietos Farm Traditional Cache
poundsonwood: Checked on this one today, and the flora is so grown up that this is no longer a good location for a hide. Taking it down for good.

The Nietos Family Ranch dates back to 1784 when it was granted by the Spanish, and included 300,000 acres. In 1834, under Mexican government, it was divided into 6 parcels. Descendants of Manuel Nieto farmed the area near this cache until late in the 20th century, growing tomatos and corn and selling from road side stands. The area today is unincorporated Los Angeles County, and is known as Los Nietos. I often bought fresh sweet corn from their fields in the late 1970's.
This cache is a 4" x 4" plastic container, camoflaged to match it's surroundings. This is a road side cache, and is accessible 24hrs. Cache contains small items which may interest kids.
Cache contains a $1 bill for FTF. This bill is being tracked. Please log the bill into the Where's George website, and then move it along to another cache, or spend it, the choice is yours.
Way to go, KX6D on your FTF!!!
