The Amy Gillett Bikeway between Oakbank and Woodside was opened on the 23rd of January 2010. It was the first stage of a trail that will eventually stretch the length of the original Mt. Pleasant railway line which ran from 1918 before closing in 1964.
You are looking for a plastic peanut butter jar with a yellow lid. The track is bitumenised and runs from the Woodside sports 'complex' to Size Rd just north of Oakbank. It is open to cyclists, walkers and horseriders. It follows the roadside for the length of it but be careful at intersections.
