Geocache Description:

Tupperware container containing log book, pen, swaps and history of Inglewood 1860 - 1888. (one of a set of five caches that have photocopies of Inglewood History)

The Bendigo to Inglewood railway line opened in 1876, hence a turn-table was required to turn the trains back towards Bendigo. In 1882 the Inglewood to Korong Vale line was opened, then in 1888 the Inglewood to Dunolly line was opened. There are many photocopied sheets of Inglewoods History from 1860 - 1888, please feel free to take one.
