Schoen Laufen (Beautiful Walk) Park is 39 acres and is considered Germantown’s first environmental park. The park is located along the Menomonee River at the corners of Maple Road and Lilac Lane with a trail that winds through a beech/maple forest with a great display of spring ephemerals. The central themes of the park are resource preservation and environmental education. This is the only park in the Village of Germantown park system where dogs are welcomed. Park amenities include picnic area with shelter, looping walking path, and off street parking for 20 cars.
