I wanted to create a virtual cache for downtown Pflugerville, but found out that new virtual caches are no longer permitted (since 2005 or so I was told.) So I said, hmmm, what alternatives do I have? Hence this multi-cache.
This is a simple two part multicache that starts out at old historic "downtown" Pflugerville at the posted coordinates. Yes, this is it. The old town center of Pflugerville encompasses just this one small street. It's hard to believe that the population of Pflugerville now exceeds 63,000. From this spot you should be able to see two things that give you the information to determine the coordinates of the actual cache that can be found in "rural" Pflugerville (about two miles south of downtown).
1) At Pflugerville city hall, what is the word written under "City of Pflugerville" on the sign found there?
2) What "peppy and refreshing" brand of beer is advertised on the wall of the establishment next to city hall?
Use the following formula to come up with the coordinates for the final cache:
N 30 2A.BCD W 097 3E.FFG
A = number of L's and M's in the answer to question 1.
B = number of U's in the answer to question 2.
C = number of O's in the answer to question 2.
D = number of M's, R's, and U's in the answers to both questions.
E = the number of letters in the English word that the answer to question 1 translates to.
F = number of vowel's in the answer to question 2.
G = the position where the letter "g" appears in the word or words that is the answer to question 2 (e.g, if the answer to the question was "Yuengling", G would equal 5 because "g" is the fifth letter of the word).
The final cache is a 35mm film canister.
