This is cache is located along one of my favorite walking trails — the backbone of the old Great Western Railroad. If you come from the East along Route 64, you can follow the Great Western Bike Path out there. (Take a look at Google Earth satellite imagery to see how far the old railroad scar extends across the farmland. It's kinda neat.) Park is available at the Wilkenson-Renwick marsh just off Glidden Road.
This cache is different. It is called The Art Cache because everything in it was made by somebody. You might find drawings, jewelry, knitted or sewn creations, books, music — all kinds of great stuff!
This is a chance to see how creative some of our geocaching friends are, and what kind of hidden talents they have. :)
Please keep The Art Cache special by adding only things that you or somebody you know have made. And please take something special from the cache in exchange!

In addition to a traditional log, there is also a drawing that each new visitor is asked to add something to! And don't worry — you don't have to consider yourself an "artist" to play. Everyone can make their mark! All abilities are welcome and encouraged. :)
In the winter and spring months, you'd be wise to wear boots as parts of the path might be squishy. But at all times of the year, you'll enjoy an eerily beautiful and almost dreamlike walk through a tunnel of trees that feels as if it goes on forever.
