Geocache Description:

The cache is a lock and lock container. It's hidden near a "swemgat". Swemgat is the translation in afrikaans for swimhole.
It's lovely to cool down in the natural swimming pool after a long hike.

Golden Gate is a national park. It has many hiking trails in the Drakensberg mountains.

You have to pay a daily conservation fee to get a permit for using the hiking trails and for the "swemgat". In 2018, it's was R48 for SA Citizens and R142 for international visitors.
Or you can just have a quick visit to the "Swemgat"

Watch out for muggles approaching from the parking.
