Geocache Description:

Congrats to Ether Bunny for FTF

This cache was placed in honor of The Boy Scouts of America 100th anniversary.

This series is based upon badges required to earn the rank of Eagle Scout.

Each of these caches is placed at the site, or reasonably near an Eagle Scout service project.

Each of these caches contains information needed to find the bonus EAGLE RANK cache.

The location of this cache is near an Eagle scout service project. This project was carried out by a member of Troop 73 Holliston. This project involved building a bridge and benches for people to enjoy Weston Pond.
This area has become a little overgrown in the years since the project was done, there are lots of thorn bushes so long pants and long sleeves are strongly suggested.

UPDATE 6/11/10: Due to some SERIOUS damage to the Island and the access from the recent storms, I have moved this cache off the Island. It is now located near the bridge over but you no longer have to go onto the island. I have cleared the bridge access so you can go over and visit if you wish but no longer necessary.

In order to earn the Eagle Scout rank a scout must:
-Earn 21 merit badges including the 15 in this series,
-Progress through all the previous ranks each of which has it's own set of requirements.
-Serve a minimum of six months in a leadership position
-Plan, organize, and lead other scouts in an approved service project which benefits the community.
-Pass an Eagle board of review.
