Geocache Description:

This medium clip-lock container is hidden on the shore side of the sea wall; there is no need to climb over the wall or enter the marina. Easily accessible to pushchairs and bicycles. The terrain is flat tarmac. When returning the cache please make sure it is completely out of sight. Parking is ample and free in the car park at the first right on Weevil Lane. Stealth is required, especially during the summer months when the marina is buzzing with activity.

The cache is a medium sized see-through clip-lock container.
Contents on placement were:
- Logbook
- Geocaching note
- Pen to write log
- Pocket kite
- Medium sized marble in display container
- Small loose marble
- Crystal in display box
- Top Trumps card game
- Luminous yellow loop of sailing twine tied with reef knot
- Pink colouring pencil

The location of this cache on the shoreside at Royal Clarence Marina offers beautiful views across the harbour, including the naval ships and Spinnaker Tower on the Portsmouth side. It's a great place to visit day or night but I particularly enjoy it on a calm, clear, starry night. This cache can be as quick or as long as you like - you could incorporate it into a half hour stroll up to/from Priddy's Hard, even visiting Explosion!, the Museum of Naval Firepower. Built in 2002 for the Tall Ships race, Royal Clarence Marina is a little gem in Portsmouth Harbour. The deep-water marina is currently home to famous yachting names such as the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race fleet, Robin Knox-Johnston's 'Grey Power' and Dee Caffari. The shoreside offers lots of local history, as it used to be the Royal Navy's victualling yard.
