A cache placed to call attention to an Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project. The cache is in a City of Tacoma Park so its only available dawn to dusk. 5-4-13 Relocated the missing cache to a more predictable location; lowered the difficulty rating.
We see them here and there, service projects done by Boy Scouts on there way to earning the highest rank, that of the Eagle. The intent of this cache is to call your attention to one of these projects as well as to give you a chance for another find. The view from the location is just a bonus.
Service to others is an acquired taste, something that most who try it don't really expect to enjoy the first time. But the pride that comes with completing something that helps others can be enough motivation for starting a lifetime of service. To those who give it a try, Thank you.
