Julia's Gulch Traditional Cache

A new trail leads to an area that is recovering from years of neglect. This cache is located in a City of Tacoma Park that is only open from dawn to dusk.
There have been a few caches up by the lookout point over the years but the blackberry vines and steep slopes have kept most people from going any further. But now, thanks to many volunteer hours, the support of several local businesses and government agencys, a trail has been created that will take you over the edge and into this hidden area. The 31 acre park is just now beginning to get the attention it needs to become a great place to visit.
From the parking location walk the grass and then gravel trail near the road to the trailhead.
12-20-10 The natural camo has changed so that the previous hint no longer applied. A new hint has been added that should make finding the cache easy.
5-4-13 Someone moved the cache 40 feet south of it's correct location. It's now back in the proper spot with a new, more specific hint.
