Geocache Description:

SUNSET LINE AND TWINE

Once upon a time, there was a manufacturer of twine and string in Petaluma. This was the factory where it was produced.

This building is no longer being used for that purpose but the edifice itself is still standing and a beautiful example of this kind of brick construction. The wooden windows make my architecture-loving heart beat just a little faster.

There have been several attempts in recent years to resurrect it to some other purpose.

If you listen very carefully, you can still here the clank and whirr of the machinery humming in the distance.

It seems fitting to honor this building with a cache that it would appreciate.
To that end, an antique spool has been placed with a log for you to sign.
