Are you ready for
Summer???
Come on down to the Cobre Valley, home of Team Cobre Valley
Tomcats and "The Nocturnal Cacher", and welcome the Summer with
fellow geocachers!
The Cobre Valley area usually averages 8 - 12 degrees cooler
than the Phoenix and Tucson metro areas. So, if you're
burning up, and want to take an evening getaway to the cooler
climate, come on up and join us in bringing in the Summer to the
Cobre Valley!
If you haven't been to either of our previous events at this
location, (GC1KG7J or GC1WFMB you don't know what you're missing!
Especially if you like Mexican food as much as we do!
Due to most of the property near the event location being
privately owned either by the copper mines, or by ranchers, we
won't be able to hide any new caches close by, specifically for the
event.
However, there are several caches within 15 miles of the event
location, including 1 right on the restaurant property, and many
others nearby! There are also 2 caches hidden by TCVT on the
way up to the event, if you're coming from the Phoenix Metro area.
So, planning to make a full day of caching will make it even
more fun!
A drawing is planned for all attendees. If you have an
item (or items) that you would like to donate for the drawing,
bring those items with you, and we will include them in the
raffle.
