Hike to Paisaje Lunar
This cache is placed along the way up to Paysaje Lunar, a spectacular geological formation caused by erosion (earth pyramids).
The box is a small 0,45l container, hidden under a heap of stones aside the track.
If you want to make the tour to Paisaje Lunar, calculate one day for the trip including breaks and picknicks - the hike can not be done within 2-3 hours, like some guidebooks claim. For safety reasons take a good flashlight and batteries with you - we needed one, as we have started too late and nightfall was coming early in winter.
You have to start the hike in Vilaflor at the Plaza Doctor Pérez Cázeres (following the official signs) or at the given alternative parking coordinates (longer but easier track).
The site of Paisaje Lunar itself owns already a traditional cache by lacruz18 (GCRKVM) and hopefully soon an Earthcache (still creating the listing...).
