Geocache Description:

When I saw the name of the Road I just had to put a cache here.

How did this road get it's name ? There is sure nothing there to remind me of Cayman.

Diving 100 ft down on the Cayman North Wall

I can only guess that the previous owners took the money they got when they sold the land to developers and moved to the Cayman Islands and are now sitting on the warm sandy beach listening to the "Barefoot Man" and drinking Pina Coladas.

The Cayman Islands (Locals pronounce it K-MON) is a British overseas territory located in the western Caribbean Sea.

The Cayman Islands are the peaks of a massive underwater ridge, known as the Cayman Trench (or Trough), standing 8,000 feet from the sea floor, which barely exceeds the surface. This is the reason there is such great scuba diving there. The Island is flat and has no streams or rivers that run into the sea, clouding the aquamarine water. The underwater visibility is close to 100 feet, the temp. is 80° making the dives feel like swimming in an aquarium.

The islands lie in the northwest Caribbean Sea, south of Cuba and west of Jamaica. They are situated about 400 miles south of Miami, 180 miles south of Cuba, and 195 miles northwest of Jamaica. Grand Cayman is by far the biggest, with an area of 76 square miles.

THIS SHOULD ONLY BE ACCESSED DURING DAY LIGHT HOURS so not to disturb the home owners on the street. You may be greeted by a police officer if you show up at night.
