This was a stage-coach
hostelry on the old Penetanguishene Road, being one of the original
37 wayside taverns situated between Barrie and
Penetanguishene.
The first meeting of the
Flos Township council was held here June 4, 1854.
This is a very
busy road so please take caution as you drive off and on to the
cairn
area
Cache contained only a log book and pencil when placed. Suggest
you bring your own writing instrument.
