Call Box 78-514 Santa Ysabel View Traditional Cache
starcrwzr: These type of caches just didn't work out, what with water ingress and destruction by muggles, I've decide to take the last of them down.

Easy to find cache at a Highway 78 Call Box pull out.
This is the second in what I think will be a series of Call Box
caches.
WARNING - DO NOT OPEN THE CALL BOX AND LIFT
THE RECEIVER! A CHP WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE DISPATCHED TO THAT
LOCATION IF YOU DO.
This cache is an 8" piece of 1.25" PVC pipe with end caps. The
bottom is glued, the top is just pressed on. It will hold long
skinny things or numerous small things. I call it by it Call Box
number and that from here, you get to see some of the Santa Ysabel
Valley below.
I gave this cache a difficulty of 3.5, not for how it's hidden, it
isn't, it's in plain sight. It gets it's difficulty because it's
going to need special equipment to get it, the cache is about 10'
off the ground! You will need either a broom stick with a nail
driven in the end and bent over so that you can hook the cache by
it's top hanging wire, or use what I used to put it there, one of
those Extend-a-Reach thingies that are used in the kitchen to reach
high shelves. A step stool or small ladder could help, but it's
hard to look stealthy at the side of the road with a ladder. You
can't use your car to stand on, you can't get it close enough. So
bring your special equipment for this one! Hopefully, because of
it's height off the ground, it will be somewhat muggle proof.
The cache contains a logbook, pen and shirt dollar for the first to
find.
Have fun and be stealthy.
Congratulations to kickbakjack for the
FTF!
