Geocache Description:


Red Rocks is the former home of famous newspaper editior William Allen White. White was friends with many U.S. Presidents including Theodor Roosevelt which kept Kansas in the national spotlight. Four Presidents have slept in this house. One of the prized pieces in the home is a leopard rug that was a gift from T. Roosevelt.

The home is filled with furniture donated by the White family. The bookshelves are filled with their books the furniture is mostly furniture the family used.

Stop in and take a tour of this National Historic Landmark right here in the heart of Kansas.
While the cache is available for free and any time, there is a $3 adult admission for a guided tour
