A cache on open access land, near Painscastle, very popular with local walkers.
The Begwns is owned and cared for by The National Trust. Car parking is by the road at CP1 or by the cattle grid on the Clyro road at CP2, for a longer walk.
From the cache looking North St Davids Church can be seen and is well worth a visit. If you visit the Church and require an alternative route back onto The Begwns, bridge BR1 might help.
The Begwns has lots of features to walk around, nearby is 'The Roundabout'. More info for this is available on www.waymarking.com search around HR3 5dq postcode.
The cache is plastic box 6x4x2 inches which originally contained a 'please read ' info sheet, log, biro, pencil, 5 coins, small toy and shopping trolley coin. Also theres a First to Find card and PRIZE.
