Geocache Description:

Cache 15 - Alice Mackenzie 17th Jul 1889

Jack the Ripper was a pseudonym given to an unidentified serial killer active in Whitechapel, London, in late 1888

In the history books Jack the Ripper was never caught. However, after many trips to the library JaceyB has found that he has retired to the village of Northchapel. For my 12th trail I invite you to follow his trail of crimes and track him down...

Each cache is named after one of his victims, or supposed victims.

The Trail :-

The trail only has a couple of steepish hills. There are some really nice bits with lakes, rivers, and plenty of wildfowl. If you have a dog I suggest you make sure it doesn't chase after them !

Also keep a look out for the air navigational beacon. This is marked on the OS map and is best seen from a gate at N51.03.146, W000.37.645

Quite a lot of the trail is on bridleways. These can get very muddy after rain.

Additional Info :-

Trail Length - 6.5 miles / 19 caches + 1 bonus
Suggested parking - N51.03.412, W000.38.371
Coords are for parking on the roadside near the village hall. I am unsure if it's permissable to park in the village hall car park
