Geocache Description:

A green matchstick container.

For those of you who regularly travel the eastern end of Route 44 you know what a tedious and boring ride this can be. Other than fantastic sunsets if you are west bound at that time of day the last several miles seem to go on for ever. This location has been screaming for a cache ever since I learned of geocaching last summer ( thanks Boot Group. ) This cache is offered to take some of the monotony out of at least one of your commutes. The cache is not located on 44 so please do not stop or park on the highway as it is dangerous and prohibited. The cache is located safely off the highway on Spring St. at the Spring St. exit. G.Z. is at the top of a hill aproximatly 130 ft. above sea level. While it is up hill all the way the hill is clear of brush so it is an easy walk to your goal. It's a simple traditional hide. B.Y.O. pen or sharpie as the log is M.T. Pool's trademark waterproof vinyl.
