Geocache Description:


10 Km outside of Athens is the suburb of Marousi. Within this suburb there was a green nature heaven called by the locals Paradeisos (Paradise in greek). Unfortunately over the last 20 years social urbanisation and human greed turned this place into a nightmare of huge and caracterless buildings packed with offices and apartments and with the green areas getting smaller by the day. There remains one small area of trees called Parko Mimikopoulou which unfortunately is also claimed by some people who want to use it for development. I hid my new cache inside this park as part of my contribution to the survival of the park. I am afraid however that the history of this cache will be a short one if the plans for development go ahead.
In order to arrive to the cache you can take one of the following buses
From Kaningos Sq. in Athens Bus Nr A7 or B7
From Syntagma Sq. Bus E14 or X14
From Faliro Bus Nr 550
Get of the bus in bus-stop "PARADEISOS"
The continue by foot on paradeisou str. After 100 m or so you will see the entrance of the park to your left.
The cache is a medium sized tupperware .
The park is neglected so please take a bag with you to gather some litter.
Do not forget Cache In Trash Out.!
