Geocache Description:

A short walk to this hide less than a quarter mile from the road in a public wildlife area allows for good times and better scenery.

*** I have moved from Kansas*** If this needs maintenance please let me know.

This hide is planted in the Perry Wildlife area north of Valley Falls. The cache resides near several marshes and wooded areas which house multiple species of animals, especially water fowl. Lots of paths and old roads run through the area so getting lost is all but impossible. Terrain is generally flat and easy to traverse, just watch out for old logs and stumps. Bug spray is probably useful in the summer but if your just grabbing and going then its probably not needed. The marshes are active hunting areas so don't be surprised at the sounds of distant gunfire. If you bring garbage in, haul it out lets keep the area as clean as we can.
