We will be showing you how to use a gps with using a Garmin GPSMAP
60CSX.
1...What type of screens are on a gps and how each screen
works.
2...How to setup and customize your gps to show you the information
you want to see on the screen.
3...What does these techy term mean: waypoint, coords, accuracy,
goto or find, etc. Lets find out.
4...How to mark a waypoint, find a waypoint, and what does this
feature do, what does this button do?
5...Review how to connect your gps up to the computer. What
software do I need to make it work. How to update your gps?
6...Show you websites where to download software or maps that works
with your gps.
7...Introduction to the Garmin Mapsource software, basic functions,
how to send & receive maps, waypoints, routes, and tracks to
the gps.
8...How to use the geocaching site to download waypoints (Caches)
to your gps using the website. (Send to GPS)
9...Introductions to some of the geocaching groups. (Local and
State geocaching clubs)
Don't have a GPSMAP 60CSX? No problem, most of basic features on
this gps can be found on any of the other gps units out there.
