Geocache Description:

The Northwest side of Chicago was a great place to grow up in the 60's & 70's. You went out after dinner to play with your friends and didn't come home until "the street lights came on." We played ball in the street, basketball in the alley, red light green light on the front lawn and cut thru the neighbors yards to get to the park. This was our neighborhood park where we went for the playground equipment, softball games, daycamp, ice skating and generally just hanging out.

There was a great bakery on Milwaukee Ave with the same name that is now gone. An awesome hot dog stand called Tastee Hastee, also sadly long gone. If you're familiar with this neighborhood, please give a shout out in your log to something you remember from the area way back when in the "good ole days".

Muggles may be a problem at certain times, more so in the warmer months, so please use stealth. Cache is a tight fit and needs to be replaced in exactly the same way as you found it. Bring your own pen.

Congrats to the 3 FTF teams. Wheels00 we figured you'd be in the mix, glad PN & BA were there in time to give you a fight. Really glad to hear Nonny laid hands on it first as I think this was her first FTF. Sorry I was not there to see you all duking it out!
