Eagle Rock Traditional Cache

Lots of loose & jagged rock around here...be careful while accessing the cache location. I neglected to put a writing instrument in the cache container, so be sure to bring one along.
Eagle Rock is a rather unique geographic feature located on the north end of the Fernley Sink, just off the base of the Hot Springs Mountains. I've never seen an eagle out there, but it's obvious that really big birds of some sort routinely hang out on top of the rock.
Looking south from the cache location, you can see some of the old evaporators of Eagle Salt Works.
I wonder who went to all the trouble to put that traffic control barrel out there?
