The rails and ties were removed a few years ago and were
replaced by a smooth blacktop walking/bike path when the Polson
Hill section of Highway 93 was reconstructed. This cache was placed
with permission from the Montana Department of Transportation. The
cache can be accessed by foot or bicycle from the top of Polson
hill.
Park at the northern end of Commerce Drive (N 47° 40.065', W114°
06.504'). Head north along the trail about .3 mile to the cache.
You will notice a small grove of aspen trees to the west side of
the trail, start your hunt here.
Enjoy the exercise and the beautiful views of Flathead Lake and
the Mission Mountains.
