This cache is the
eleventh of my “dog tribute” caches.
Farley & The Flux
Capacitor
If you’re familiar with one of my prior caches,
Remembering Farley (GC20DW5)
as well as the continuing saga of the caching-ubiquitous Flux
Capacitor (GC20EW9),
then you might have a clue as to where I’m going with this
cache.
Farley was/is the family pet (Old English Sheep Dog, as shown
above)
of the Pattersons in the comic strip, For Better or For
Worse.
In 1995, strip author, Canadian Lynn Johnston, created a story line
whereby
an aging Farley died while saving the life of the youngest
Patterson child, April.
Johnston stopped creating new strips in August 2008, but the comic
was not
retired from circulation but instead began “recycling”
old strips from its early years.
Incredibly enough, a young Farley reappeared as the
Patterson’s pet in the recycled strips!
It was almost like Farley went back in time….
Wait a second!!
(Or minute, hour – it’s all
“relative”…)
Back in time?!!??!?!
I can do that!!!
So, we proudly present: Farley and The Flux Capacitor.
This cache is a small, camouflaged Lock-N-Lock.
Also, the cache is only available from sunrise to sunset.
