You are looking for a key holder located in a very interesting place as you enter Evening Shade
Evening Shade has a very interesting story. Several years ago a tv program was created named "Evening Shade". The basic story line of the program was based in Evening Shade, Arkansas. Very little footage was actually shot at Evening Shade there was at least one scene in the opening show which showed kids getting off an Evening Shade school bus at the local school. Some of the kids who went to our church were in that scene. The writers did their homeworki. They did not shoot much footage in ES but many of their stories were centered around towns in the community. One such story involved the quarterback of the football team (the real Evening Shade never had a football team) being injured. The ES coach sent an assistant coach to take the boy to the trainers at Arkansas State University to see if they could help him heal faster. Arkansas State is located in Jonesboro which is about 70 miles from the real ES. In the story the coach was sppeding through the tiny town of Portia where a local cop stopped him in what was protrayed as a speed trap. Most people my age were well aware that Portia was nortorius as a speed trap town in those days. Several such stories in the show actually fit the area. Enjoy the cache and enjoy Evening Shade.
