Geocachers come in all shapes and sizes, but for the most part friendly and helpful are two words which I think best describe most of the ones that I have met.
Last week I placed a cache in this area only to find that when I submitted it to be published another cacher had a puzzle cache that ended near my chosen site. This of course necessitated a move of my cache to another spot.
Upon hearing of my dilemma a fellow cacher took it upon himself to relocate my cache for me, thus saving me an 80 mile trip to do it myself. His motive was simple; I had a problem, and he knew that he could help. It is this kind of thoughtfulness that makes me grateful for good friends; they make this world a much better place in which to live.
Putting this cache at a new location also necessitated changing the name of the cache. The old name just doesn’t quite fit. So, to an Unknown Hobo and Friend, I would like to dedicate this cache, and call it “Oh Thank Heaven for Friends”, to remind us all of how blessed we are to have friends.
