Terrain is mainly level to a slight incline but slightly rocky. Hiking boots are recommended. Spectacular view of New Jersey suburbia.. so bring your binoculars.

Welcome to the

Campgaw   Mountain   Geocache

"Campgaw" - an Indian word meaning "GroundHog" or "Goose".

You're going to like this one for the pleasant hike up to the top
of Campgaw Mountain. At the top, take a moment to
enjoy the scenic, panoramic view of 
New Jersey suburbia

Entrance to the park area is off Campgaw Road at
N41 03.604 W74 11.013

After a short drive, there is a parking area opposite the Hemlock trail
park there. You need to get on the Indian Trail which
starts at the Hemlock Trail.

Continue upwards ... you will pass a pipsqueak of a ski resort....
