*Park in the parking area or end up like the poor soul who took his mini out too far and it didn't want to leave.
*This is tidal dependent so check the tides or brave the depths.
*Most of the walk is fine but when you close in on GZ mind your stepping as you may get a sinking feeling and get a little muddy.
*Cache is relatively easy to find for a cacher.
I grew up in Onerahi and I loved exploring the area I found this place many years ago when there was more to the car and when it wasn't so covered in oysters. I have been told this is an old barge, unknown what it was used for atm (any info please let me know?). Now they just sit and decay, rusting away.
The trick for this one is getting the tides right. You can see GZ from the parking area at the end of Pah Road, but can you reach it, If it is full tide it won't be too deep but I would wait for low tide to see where not to sink.
Or you could use a boat and head straight into the island.
You will have to travel to the small island just past the boat.
