Geocache Description:

This is one in a series of caches on things that once existed but only exist in our memories now.

In the Mid 70’s before the Towne Mall was built, there was talk in town of a mall being located near where the present day E-town swim is now. This brought in new businesses to this end of town one of them being a Sonic restaurant. It did not take long for Sonic to become popular for their famous foot long coneys and ice cream. Not too long after the Town Mall was built on the North side of town, E-town would lose its Sonic and it took several years before a new one was built near the center of town.

If you look closely you will see where the old curb outlines the parking spaces and also the tile where the building used to be

One thing that did not make it to the new restaurant was your food delivered via roller skate, Do you Remember?
